Privacy Policy
Effective August 31, 2026
The short version
Anything you put into a tool on this site — a file, a photo, text, a password, a microphone or camera signal, a sensor reading — stays on your device and is never sent to us. We collect anonymous usage analytics about which pages are visited. Advertising on the site uses cookies, which is the one place third parties are involved.
What we do not collect
There is no account system, so we hold no names, email addresses or passwords. Specifically, we never receive:
- The contents of any file, image, audio clip, video or PDF you open in a tool.
- Any text you type, paste, or generate, including passwords and tokens.
- Microphone audio, camera video, or still frames.
- Device orientation, motion or compass readings.
- Your precise location.
This is structural rather than a policy choice. The site is static files on a CDN with no application server, so there is no endpoint capable of receiving that data.
What stays on your device
Some tools remember things locally using your browser's
localStorage. That data never leaves your machine and we cannot
read it. It covers your light or dark theme choice, your recently used
tools, saved tool settings and input history, and game scores or streaks.
To clear it, use your browser's "clear site data" or "cookies and site data" setting for this site. Doing so resets preferences and nothing else.
Analytics
We use Google Analytics 4 to understand which tools people use and which pages are broken. It records page views, approximate location at city-or-region level derived from a truncated IP address, device and browser type, and referring site. IP anonymisation is enabled. We do not use it to build advertising audiences or to identify individuals, and we do not combine it with any other data.
You can opt out entirely with Google's browser opt-out add-on, or by blocking analytics in your browser or an extension. Every tool works identically either way.
Advertising
Advertising is served by Google AdSense, which uses cookies and similar technologies to serve and measure ads. Google and its partners may use these to show personalised advertising based on your prior visits to this and other sites, unless you opt out.
You can control this at Google Ad Settings and at optout.aboutads.info. Visitors in the EU, UK and Switzerland are shown a consent prompt through a Google-certified consent management platform before any advertising cookie is set, and you can change or withdraw that consent at any time from the prompt's control.
Camera, microphone and sensors
Nothing is recorded or transmitted
Your browser controls these permissions, not us. You can revoke them at any time from the permission icon in the address bar, or in your browser's site settings. Sensor tools require a secure HTTPS connection, and on iOS Safari they additionally require you to tap an explicit permission button before any reading is available.

Your rights
Under the GDPR and UK GDPR you have the right to access, correct, erase, port and object to the processing of your personal data. In practice we hold no personal data about you that could be retrieved: analytics data is anonymous and not linked to an identifier we can resolve to a person. For the advertising and analytics cookies described above, Google is the data controller and its own privacy policy applies.
Under the CCPA and CPRA, California residents have the right to know what is collected, to delete it, and to opt out of its sale or sharing. We do not sell or share personal information, and we never have.
Requests about anything we do hold can go to the address on the contact page.
Children
This site is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. Since the site requires no account and collects no personal details, there is nothing for a child to submit.
International transfers
Data processed by Google Analytics and Google AdSense may be transferred to and stored on servers outside your country, including in the United States, under Google's own transfer safeguards. Your tool inputs are not transferred anywhere, because they never leave your device.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes materially, the effective date at the top changes with it, and a note appears here describing what changed. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated policy.
